Everyone tells us about the typical silicone dishes, cutlery and the extensive list of rules that exist today for complementary feeding. However, there are few who recommend REALLY NECESSARY things to us, which can never occur to you until you experience complementary feeding yourself. Here are my MUSTS for feeding my baby, the ones that no one told me but I learned along the way.
- Dustpan and brush: to collect in a more practical and easy way all the trails that your baby leaves around the house while eating a snack or after lunch, dinner, etc.
- Natural cleaning spray: You don’t want to fill your baby’s table or the area where they cook their meals with chemicals.
- A shelf for your things: Little by little you will collect many items that you will want to organise in a specific drawer or shelf in your house.
- Bibs that cover everything: Silicone bibs are not the best option for babies who enjoy their food. Protect the clothes with a super large bib.
- Hanger on the dining chair: It is super practical to hang your baby’s bib
- Brush for their dishes: If you’re like me and you don’t like to mix your baby’s utensils with yours, a special brush to wash their things never hurts.
- BPA Free Tupperware: To store food, snacks, etc.
- A lot of patience: Basic to accompany your baby in this process (what a pity that this cannot be bought, right?)
What would you add to the list?
